HOUSE AND THE TEAM TREAT AN AGORAPHOBIC PATIENT WHO REFUSES TO LEAVE HIS HOME
When an agoraphobic man falls mysteriously ill and adamantly refuses to leave his home to get treatment at the hospital, House and the team go to him to figure out what might be wrong. Cameron takes charge as she has treated the patient before, and she and the team figure out ways to bring the hospital to the patient’s home, much to Cuddy’s disapproval. But as the patient’s condition worsens and their options for treating him inside his home become increasingly limited, House and the team scheme to get the man into the hospital for surgery without causing any further physical trauma or emotional anxiety. Meanwhile, Cameron and Chase attempt to work through some kinks in their relationship, and House deals with an annoying itch he cannot seem to scratch as Wilson comes up with his own analogies about House’s prickly situation in “The Itch” episode of HOUSE airing Tuesday, Nov. 11 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/ PT) on FOX. Matchmaker, Matchmaker,
Make me a match,
Find me a find,
Catch me a catch,
Night after night in the dark I'm alone
So find me match,
Of my own.
Wilson was very funny in this episode. Loved Cuddy seeing through his asking her out -- maybe we should just have sex in front of House's office.
The ending, with the patient going outside and House chickening out, was very predictable.

Okay. I loved this. I think they had a really good balance between the medicine and the soap opera -- I could actually understand what was going on. I loved everyone in this -- especially the House/Cuddy/Wilson scenes. Cuddy was a badass, and Wilson was... my hero. I loved that she kissed his cheek.
And it was lovely that Cameron got a lot of time. I really like the development that she's been running the Community Outreach. I think that's really good for her.

It was, and yet my heart still broke for House. Only Hugh could make such a cliche hurt that bad.

I am glad to see the House/Wilson banter back again. I can only hope that Wilson is using this to get him and House together (a girl can dream!).
I'm also glad that Cuddy is reasonable about the fact that her and House would be a disaster. I can see how it would be appealing to both of them, but logistically every time House pulls something like surgery outside the hospital, etc, it puts them both in precarious positions.
I found the last scene w/ the POtW very eye opening to how House sees his life. I think he knows that he can change it, but I also think that he is realistic about what the outcome would be.

Cuddy was on in this one, and the kiss she gave Wilson was cute (in a platonic way). And then I'm sad again, because I know she'll irritate me again very shortly.
Cameron acted like an idiot about the patient, but I was all about the Chase/Cameron scenes, and that it wasn't All About House. Yay.
Why do I care so much about Taub's marriage? I was actually a little sad thinking he and his wife might split, and a little too happy when she joined him on the couch.
Good ep; sufficiently slashy as a bonus!

Clearly, though, Thirteen is not the only supporting player with an episode rivalling House's time. Every once in a while--alright. But I really want to see House front and centre. That said, the episode was still good. I'm so glad Chase and Cameron discussed their relationship in terms of PDH and not House. And House--it may have been predictable but I still hurt for him when he turned away. I guess at least he admitted he was tempted, so the mosquito can quit biting.
I'm glad the agoraphobe didn't have his agoraphobia revealed as a symptom of a disease-but was rather a dis-ease with life. And I notice love didn't solve his problem, so I don't think we're looking at any relationship solving House's, either.

Good episode. Very fun.
I am so ashamed of myself, at the last second I fell for Wilson's lie (again) until Cuddy called him on it. I suck as a fangirl *fails* But, I thought it was cute how she kissed him on the cheek.
I liked the C/C stuff, I was glad that she wasn't purposely pushing Chase away (she didn't even think about the 'my house/your house' thing until House brought it up) and that it wasn't about House.
But, being the H/W shipper that I am, my favorite was House going to Wilson in the middle of the night. Wilson all sleepy, with messy hair, and a t-shirt was hot, hot, HOT!!! The hotness helped me ignore my irritation at Wilson kicking House out.
I'm glad Cuddy is being so reasonable about this whole thing. I'm glad she wasn't reduced to a lovesick teenager.

Is it sad that I honestly thought "Go sleep in my bed," was going to be one of Wilson's options?
And, wrt Wilson, I now have Billy Joel's "Tell Her About It" stuck in my head.

I'm relieved that Cameron didn't come across looking pathetic or like an idiot. I'm so glad her issues with letting Chase into her home had to do with her husband and not her feelings for House. It appeared in the episode that she really had no feelings for House. I'm glad they kept her in character with the value she places on a patient's right to be informed.
Chase was just wonderful all around. Most guys would be rude and heated if they were bringing up potential problems in a relationship, but he remained incredibly calm. Cameron is so lucky to have someone with that quality. I thought it was a fitting characterization for him too that he would keep quiet about feeling like he was unwanted for so long because he had to learn to be longsuffering dealing with his mother. Chase's smile at the end was killer!
I enjoyed House's speech about the patient and how it seemed to influence Cameron to make a positive change in her life.
I enjoyed Wilson in this episode too. I pretty much always enjoy Wilson and Chase though, so that's not suprising.

I liked the ep. I liked the whole Cuddy/Wilson/House interactions. Nothing too earth shattering but cute none the less.
The potw was a bit tedious for me. I kind of stopped caring.
I'm glad wilson doesn't really like Cuddy. Ugh. Don't need that.

Really dug this episode, despite the occasional anvil that thudded around. Each story felt balanced and packed just the right level of impact.
All the House and Wilson scenes were great, and man, the Wilson/Cuddy scene was quite possibly the grea-*test*-('") musical mindf*ck ever on this show. That was made of so much awesome, I almost fell out of my chair.
13's line about roofies was even funnier live.
I was delighted that Cameron's issues had nothing to do with House, just the actual need to think about them. I'm also delighted that she and Chase actually dealt with their issues like grownups. (Um, next time something's bugging you, Chase, you might not want to wait over a year to bring it up. Just sayin'.)
The closing was predictable, but damn, it hurt anyway.

Sad? No way. :D I did like him shoving House off the couch.
So, that's still Amber's apartment, right? It looked like it, but the angles were different than they were the other times we've seen it, so I'm not %100.
I'm not digging Cam's hair. I thought it was cute, but the more I looked at it, the more it just looked thin and stringy to me.

Good episode. A tad heavy-handed in the last scene with House, Cameron and the PotW, but oh well. I was squirming when Wilson told Cuddy about his feelings, because it just seemed so off - and then laughed when it was meant to. Good job of acting-acting by RSL. (If you know what I mean. Sort of like House's ever-so-slightly-off breakdown during the eulogy.) I am SO GLAD Wilson isn't pursing Cuddy for real.
I thought the aftermath of the kiss was very well done, and it could have been a train wreck. I may be the only one who was glad House had second thoughts though.
Good stuff between Cameron and Chase, too. At first I thought they were about to break up, kind of glad they didn't. The "kind of" is because I feel awkward watching them together, knowing what happened in real life.
Wow, the new team/old team stuff was coming thick and fast! It was really weird, in light of recent discussions in the S5 and Bitterness threads. I thought a lot of dreams were about to come true!

Yes. I think we're finally starting to see what TPTB have in mind regarding new team/old team interactions, and I think it really works. They've blended quite well.
(In other news -- Greg Yaitanes just acknowledged my presence on Twitter, so I'm a happy camper).

I actually wondered if they were setting up for the old team to be reinstated.
