I read in the recap that House really was a cheerleader! oh dear. it is pretty funny though. =>
I hope Lucas stays around for a while. I love where they're taking him with the whole cuddy thing. I think they make a great couple. Cuddy needs some action. She's one of the few who haven't had a single score the intire show.
Taub is stupid! He shouldn't have told his wife.
Here is something totally random but I think would be awesome.
Lucas, Cuddy, Thirteen, 3-way.
Thatd be B-E-A-utiful telebox entertainment.

Let me guess... you're a guy, right?
I don't think Taub is stupid for telling his wife. He's got a conscience after all, which made me like him more.
His "if the result is just damage and pain, it's not noble, it's selfish" speech to the patient who wanted to confess, was just the most desperate kind of reasoning for a guy to want to delude himself into thinking that he's doing the right thing. Anyway, if his wife really loves him, chances are good that she'll forgive him. Unless the car purchase was just misdirection to hide another reason for having saved all that money, and she's really up to something else, like leaving him, or cheating on him herself.

Well, I assume that was because they hadn't fully formed character histories yet. This happens in television shows all the time; it doesn't necessarily negate the validity of the story line.
And now it really is time to take this to the shipper thread if this discussion is going to continue.
Not having the character histories fully formed (although most shows have a bible for the characters before they start writing) isn't the same as changing what you have already written before because you've suddenly got a new idea, rather than incorporating the old story line into the new one.
If we continue, maybe the David Shore and Katie Jacobs thread because it's about retconning canon. I've never seen a prime time TV show that does it as much as this one does.
